How caffeine affects anxiety
Caffeine stimulates the nervous system, increases heart rate, and can mimic or amplify anxiety symptoms. Some people are highly sensitive and notice increased anxiety after a single cup of coffee. Others tolerate 3 to 4 cups without issues.
Track your personal threshold
Log Caffeine (type, amount, timing) and Mental Health or Mood (anxiety level) daily. After 2 to 3 weeks, compare your highest-anxiety days against caffeine intake from the same day.

Frequently asked questions
Should I quit caffeine to reduce anxiety?
Not necessarily. Many people find a threshold (often 200 to 300mg per day) below which caffeine does not worsen their anxiety. Tracking reveals your personal limit.
